25 Random Things About Me

Someone asked to make a post about yourself.  Tell the world 25 random things/facts about yourself you that others wouldn’t know.  Time to get to know each other a bit.

#1 If I were to give myself a title, I’d say “SEEKER.”  Seeker of knowledge and all that is.

#2 I have a wide variety of music taste.  My favorite genres are Techno/Trance and Rock.

#3 My favorite ethnic food, would probably have to be Italian, pretty much anything Italian will do.

#4 My favorite food?  There are a lot of things I really enjoy, but one thing I almost never get tired of is Shrimp.  Fried rather than boiled.

#5 My favorite dessert would have to be Cheesecake, hands down.

#6 My favorite thing to do on the weekend?  Minecraft, yes I’m a gamer.

#7 I enjoy blogging because of the feedback.  It’s refreshing when you inspire someone.

#8 My Ultimate Dream is to travel the world immersing myself into various cultures.

#9 Other dreams include writing a novel and making documentaries.

#10 My favorite TV shows include Family Guy, Stargate SG-1, Ancient Aliens, River Monsters, and The Big Bang Theory.

#11 If I could change one thing, it would be the education system.  Through education, we can learn that we’re different, that we can get along, that it’s ok to have a different opinion.  Apparently the current education system isn’t working.

#12 Pepsi or Coke?  I’ll take Pepsi thanks.

#13 I don’t really have a favorite sport, although I do enjoy a little Volleyball from time to time and I’m planning on making the FIFA World Cup series in Brazil in 2014.  Just to see what all this fuss about Football really is.  :)

#14 I’m a Social Media Nerd.  While I don’t know everything about Social Media, I do enjoy using Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube.

#15 I’m a bit of a Computer Nerd.  Need to know some suggestions on what specs in a computer you might need?  Feel free to ask.

#16 One place I’d like to travel to?  Egypt, I’ve always been fascinated with the Pyramids.

#17 Another place I’d like to travel is Japan, the Samurai traditions, the food, the sites, temples, are all exciting things I’d like to see in person.

#18 I’m a little heat sensitive.  In other words, I can’t work hard for very long outside, otherwise, I’m susceptible to a heat stroke.  Which isn’t good for the brain.

#19 I’m eating less meat now than I was a Year Ago.  Will I get rid of meat entirely?  Probably not, but I’ve cut way back on my meat intake and encourage others to do so.

#20 I despise religion, mostly the religions that believe in “One True God,” oh and Christ. You’ve been so brainwashed that you don’t know how to think anymore.  Don’t believe me?  Start questioning your religion.

#21 I believe in Aliens.  Don’t laugh, the Universe it to huge to only support one intelligent life form.  If you think that there is only one intelligent life form, look at the numbers, number of stars in existence and the fact that many of these stars contain planets.

#22 I’m into fitness, I’ve started a Cardio routine that will help aid me on my way to six pack abs.

#23 My physical traits include, Brown Hair, Hazel Eyes, and Broad Neck.  My astrological sign is Scorpio.

Life Begins When You Choose

The world seems so over run with Drama and Worry lately.  You know life can’t be good when you’re involved in two groups that can’t seem to get along.  Many of you probably know what I’m talking about here.

Have you ever tried to fit into two different groups, merely because both groups had people that you liked in it?  If you said yes, then we’re getting some where.  After a bit of drama, I’ve decided to leave those two groups.  Not going to name them here.  What does drama and worry have to do with this post?

It has a lot to do with living.  If you’ve got drama and worry in your life, then how much of your life are you really living?  How much of your life is actually what you want it to be?  Life is meant to be enjoyed, not dramatized to death.

“Live in the moment.”  Now that’s a quote that many of us tend to forget easily.  What does “Live in the moment” mean to you?

To me, it means absorbing the detail, forgetting about everything else and just enjoying the moment, and just being you.  If you went out yesterday, did you observe the trimming where you went?  What about the paintings on the wall?  Where there candles lit and how many?  What colors where there?  What smells where there?

Perhaps to some people Living in the moment is merely letting their senses run rampant.  Perhaps to others, it’s getting that adrenaline rush.  To others, it’s merely stopping to smell the roses.

When you get rid of the drama and worry in your life, you can actually begin to plan.  Life is too short to live a “Normal” life.  When we finally figure out that, “hey we don’t need this drama and worry,” then we start to live again.

So, why not be a little insane for a change?  Obviously being normal isn’t working.
