Are We All Really Created Equal?
There are those among us who would like you to believe that we’re all created equal. However, let’s be straight forward with this, we’re not all created equal. You can argue all you want, but you won’t change my mind otherwise.
Disclaimer: I’m not at all saying that discrimination is a good thing, what I’m writing about today is far from it. Discrimination is wrong, we should treat other with respect and not crush each others belief.
Misinformation
Have you falling for the trap that we’re all created equal? Perhaps these words are not the correct words to use? It all really boils down to misinformation. There is so much data on the internet today, as well as books, that you’re not sure what to believe. Were’s the research to back up these claims?
It’s one thing to sit there and say something, but to claim it as a fact without any solid evidence? Well, I’m about to burst someone’s bubble and they’re not going to like it. A part of being good at anything, be it a Detective, Writer, or Pro Sports Player, is piecing the pieces of the puzzle together. This is where thinking comes into play. Have you used your brain recently?
Thinking will allow you to piece the puzzle pieces together and get the truth you deserve. You’ve got to figure out what works and what doesn’t. That is the only way you’re going to get ahead in life. It doesn’t matter whether you’re Black, Asian, White, Hispanic, or other. Regardless of who you are and where you’re from, you too can learn up to a certain extent.
The Reality
When misinformation gets thrown out there, people suck it up like a sponge. When in reality, your world is much like the Matrix in the movie Matrix. Remember the reality that Neo thought was real? Turns out that his reality was not real at all.
Many people today live in a Fantasy World, based on False Information. These people will suck up everything the News Media and Government Bureaucrats throw out there without even looking into it. Sound familiar to you? How many people do you know that are like that? These people are living in their Fantasy World and not in Reality. This is a Danger to the rest of the world. They’re wanting things to work a certain way and they can’t.
Insanity
What is the definition of Insanity? Insanity is defined as the act of doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Like voting for the same President and getting jacked? There are many examples that could be used to exemplify the term Insanity. This goes back to the phrase, ‘Reality Check.’ When things aren’t working out the way you want them to, then perhaps it’s time for a Rain Check?
Rain Checks can be used in Life to rethink things and reevaluate them into perspective. Perhaps you can still have your way and think of other ways to make them happen? Ways that will actually work? Let’s face it, insanity is now the norm. The average voter, the average citizen, has been brainwashed by the Media and/or Government into thinking what they want you to think.
For example, American school systems are now taught how to pass tests. That’s it. They graduate thinking that they know how to think, when in reality, they’ve been taught what to think. Thinking is the ability to determine who is the lesser of the two evils when it comes to politics. Thinking is the ability to determine why something does what it does. Thinking is the ability to determine what product would be best suited for your needs, not the latest coolest thing. Get the picture? The Big Picture?
One last thing before we go, Insanity is the norm. It’s in fact basically Human Nature. However, when you’re insane to the point that you no longer have the ability to think, there is something wrong with this picture. Getting into debt, then getting into more debt, to pay off a debt, then going into even more debt because you have extra money to spend after that remortgage, that is the definition of insane.
Reality Check Please….
Smart vs Not So Smart
Again, are we really created equal? I think those are poor choices of words. You have a lot of smart people out there, then you have those that seem to have a gift for intelligence. The ones that seem to excel when you put them in a place that they love. This alone is enough evidence to bust the bubble on this Myth. Why? Simple, you have people out there that can’t be as successful as others. No matter how much of an edge you give them.
You can give them a free College Education. You can give them all the tools that they need to succeed. You could even flat out give them the money that they need to start a successful Business/Career. They will still fail at it. Why? Some might argue that it’s because of a lack of Motivation. No, I disagree. Perhaps what’s missing is a Lack of Vision? Maybe a Lack of Foresight?
For those of you who don’t know, Foresight is the ability to see the big picture, or to see the future. However you take it, it’s a necessary ingredient in success.
Perhaps it’s even a lack of the two combined as one? When you have Vision and Foresight into the Future of how things will play out, then you can master the art of Making Money and being Successful. These people are deemed as the Smart Ones. They’ve had Visions of the Future, they’ve Thought about it, Planned it out, then took action. Lot’s of people take action everyday, but few seem to make it.
So, are we really created equal? I would have to say no for several reasons:
1 – People differ in intelligence capabilities.
2 – People lack the ability to see the bigger picture.
3 – People live in a Fantasy World in which They created.
What are some things that we can do to decrease the level of insanity in America or the rest of the World?
My Theory On the Evolution of Mankind!
Many theories exist on the theories of how mankind evolved. Many people still believe that mankind did not evolve and was created as is. Perhaps that’s true, but what if what we evolved from no longer exist? Maybe, just maybe it exist to this day on another planet some where?
The evolution theory suggests that we share a common ancestor with apes. However, with the recent findings of the Mars Rover that was launched seven years ago, we might be able to come up with a different theory. Here me out for a moment.
This theory correlates with the old theory that mankind came from mars. The NASA Rover recently found conditions that once suited for Ancient Life on Mars. In a lake bed that the Rover was exploring, sediments were found and analyzed. The analyst found that there were elements such as: sulfur, nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, and carbon. These elements are key elements that are needed to support life, even on a microbial level.
Let’s go back a million years ago. Yes, I said one million years ago. Life on mars could have very well be plausible. Let’s put Mars in Earth’s place where it is today. The Habitual Zone. The pull of the Sun’s Gravity causes the planets to move closer and closer, inching further towards its death. So, if mars was once in Earth’s position, then life more than likely existed at one point.
My theory simply states this:
At one point, Mars was inching closer and closer to destruction, because of harsher and harsher conditions. The citizens of Mars had to abandon their home world in search for a new world. It just so happens that Earth at this point was very habitual and had much life to offer. This life could become a food source and it did. Because of mankind’s destructive nature, they have effectively slowed the evolutionary phases of creatures on Earth. Thus, little has changed over the years.
Upon arriving, we quickly established ourselves as dominant species. Our intelligence, our battle tactics, and our will to survive took us far. This would explain why species such as Apes, Monkeys, etc do not have the same level of intelligence that we do. They also do not have the same decision making level that we do.
Therefor, it would be safe to assume that Mankind did not share a common ancestor with Apes and Monkeys, but instead evolved from something entirely different. What that is, we’ll probably never know. We’ll probably never know whether or not this theory is even correct, but it is plausible to be accepted by some and ridiculed by others.
What is my biggest argument for this?
Well, as I mentioned earlier, Primates, such as Apes and Monkeys, do not share out level of intelligence and reasoning. This level of intelligence and reasoning would take many many years to develop. So many years in fact, that there should be a clear path of our evolution on Earth. When in reality there is no clear path. Evolution on Earth is a lot like Religion. People will argue over minute things all day long and stay divided over stupid things. That is why you see so many different branches of Christianity for example.
“As long as there are two people on this planet, you’ll find something to argue about.” So sayeth the Genie in the X Files episode. Yet, most people will agree with the vast majority of Proven Science. For example, most people do not argue with the chemistry properties of certain chemicals. Most people do not argue over how the weather works. Most people do not argue of gardening.
I can’t help but to wonder if NASA will ever find fossilized remains on Mars. Wouldn’t that be the day? One step closer to supporting my theory. Maybe it’s time we rewrote history or at the very least considered it? You have two sides of the story and none agree with the other. None seem to want to budge. On one side, you have those who believe that you don’t have to see it to believe it and on the other? You won’t believe in something unless you can at least feel it. You also have people that believe only in “Seeing is Believing,” but we all know that seeing can be an illusion. We also know that your body can play tricks on you. So, who is correct here?
I say, just live your life the best you can and if we’re to be judged, let the one doing the judging base it off that.
If there is life that is found on Mars, would that change your perspective? Do you think it’s time we started ignoring what the books say and only support Proven Science? Leave a comment below and don’t forget to share the article.
What Is God Exactly?
There comes a time in ones life, when one must step back and start thinking about their life and what exactly they believe. If there are things that we know, is that life is not easy. We also know that the blind will be lead by the blind. That people are gullible.
Using logic, we can easily deduct that very few people even come close to understanding what God really is. So many Religions try to describe God, yet when they try to describe God, the unintentionally put limits on God. That which has no limits.
When I was in School, the Big Bang Theory taught that in the beginning there was Nothing. Then all the dust in the Universe was gathered into one spot. This spot was so compact, that all the dust fit in a spot the size of a period on this page. After that, it exploded, apparently for no reason. From this explosion, all planets, stars, etc were formed. Sounds a bit far fetched don’t you think?
I’ve been given the fortunate opportunity to have a lot of time to spar. Time to think and think some more. Time to observe and time to learn. From this observation and time, I’ve learned one thing…..
“That nothing does not exist.”
Let me explain. If you were to create something, what do you need? Well, for starters you need to gather your materials into one place. Then, you would pull, push, and carve your way into the creation you’ve envisioned. Hmm, what is this starting to sound like? The Big Bang Theory perhaps? Except that there has to be something to begin with in the beginning. Where else would you get your parts from?
I’m not at all saying that God used the Big Bang to create the Universe, but I can’t exactly disprove it either.
Religion after Religion has a story that explains miraculous things. They give no explanation of how things came about. This is what Science is trying to do. Science is not our enemy. Religion however is quite the opposite from my observations.
Religion tries to quite that voice inside that says “question everything.” Religions don’t want people to be able to think for themselves. Religion wants people to be stuck in one spot the rest of their lives. Easily controllable.
So what then exactly is God?
From the best of my understanding, God is simply the beginning and the end. Just like the Bible Says. God is what makes up the Universe. God is the basic existence that holds the Universe together. God in a sense is infinite. God knows no boundaries. Only Humans place boundaries and limits on themselves. Thus, placing limits on God. What we can’t perceive, we must have faith in. This is the common mentality that is in Religion.
What is wrong then with having faith? Well, for starters, if you don’t know for certain, without a doubt, 100% true, that what you believe is the truth, then faith is pointless. What we do know though is that we have a Sunrise and a Sunset. That we have day and night. That eventually our Sun will burn out and be destroyed. That new life is taking place right now all over the Universe. These are things that we can have faith in, because we know without a shadow of a doubt, that they are true.
However, now that we know that you can’t have something without nothing. We have hope. We can now have faith that God does exist. We can faithfully pray to God everyday if we choose, knowing that God will hear us. God is everywhere. It is proven Science that the Universe responds to our brain waves. God does listen.
How you choose to perceive God, is really up to you. There is a lot that we don’t quite yet know or understand. For example: what does God really look like? While I myself have an idea, I’m not sure 100%. However, I can tell you how to find out what God is or might be.
Many people believe that we were created in “God’s Image.” In order thought to understand that Image, we must first look at ourselves and what people believe. In Religious text, God often takes the form of man to communicate with them. If God has to take the form of Man to communicate with them, then our physical bodies are not ideal representations of what God actually is.
To get a bigger picture, we must first dive inward. In towards out spirit, our subconscious. How exactly do we reach our Subconscious? It’s easier than you think. Try doing these steps. It’s time to meditate, so find a spot where you can get comfortable.
- Close your eyes
- Relax in a comfortable position
- Let your thoughts flow through your mind
- Imagine your thoughts as a roll of film
- Your thoughts are now each frame
- What you’re looking for is that pause between the frame
- Find that pause between your thoughts and grab it
- Hold it for at least 5 minutes
What do you see? What do you feel? What do you notice? This ladies and gentleman is the closest we’ll ever get to God. Endless, Infinite, without Void, all Powerful. Sounds about like God right? Yet at the same time, this is very hard to explain. Few people ever experience this on a daily basis. Only those who truly grasp what meditation is does.
Have you ever had someone tell you to think of nothing when you mediate? The problem with this form of mediation teaching, is that when you think of nothing…..”you’re thinking.” It’s like that mind game, “if I told you to not think of a Pink Elephant, you’d think of a Pink Elephant.”
What do you think? Will we ever truly understand what God is? Is this the closest we’ll ever come? Will we ever go any closer and start unlocking what is that which has no beginning and has no end?
Stereotyping Even Pedophiles and Porn Watchers
It seems that to me people are very afraid, deathly afraid of talking about certain topics. Am I wrong to assume that? I thought I would step out of my comfort zone and talk about a talk that few people ever talk about.
People today are over-protective of their children and for good reasons. Perverts and Pedophiles abound. They’re out there, lurking and waiting in the shadows. Watching from a distance waiting to strike their next victim. Often times their next victim happens to be children.
What then can we do about it? As adults, as Protectors of the Innocent, there are a few things we can do. However, it’s probably wrong of us to assume that all people are created equal, therefor, all crimes should get the same punishment. What am I talking about here? I’m talking about the people who watch Child Pornography vs the people who Commit the Acts. These are clearly two different types of people, yet people often lump them into one category.
Using a little logic and what we know about people and psychology, we can come to a safe conclusion that not all people are created equal. For starters, there are two different types of people. There are those who have Fantasies and those who Take Action. These two types of people can be said for anyone. There are those who watch sports and have sports fantasies. There are those who play sports and make it a reality. There are those who dream and fantasize about money, then there are those who actually go out and make money.
What does this have to do with Cyber Crimes and Pedophiles? Well, just that. Pedophiles are the action takers, the ones who go out and deliberately hunt down their victims. While the Porn Watchers are the ones who stay at home and have fantasies.
I know what some people are thinking right now. ”But…but…they may actually commit a crime later on in life.” What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? My biggest issue here is that the Judicial system has the same punishments set in place for actual Pedophiles, versus those who merely watch porn.
Imagine if you woke up one day and had been placed in the same category as a Pirate, you know, the kind that deal in pirated movies, music, etc. Not because you’re doing the pirating yourself, but because you’ve watched a pirated film or listened to some pirated music. You didn’t put that there, but they still put you in the same category as the distributor. Is it too much to ask to not put people in the same category? Stereotyping at it’s finest.
What if we all of a sudden banned spoons and forks? We’re banning and making illegal the use of Forks and Spoons, because they make people Fat. Instead, everyone is regulated to the use of Sporks. They’re smaller and more convenient, not to mention able to perform twice the duty.
How far is the judicial system and the people going to take this? Who knows, maybe you know someone who was affected by this “Cyber Crime?”
It’s like people that claim “Guns Kill People.” No Stupid. Guns don’t kill people. People Kill People. Guns are inanimate objects until someone picks up the Gun and pulls the Trigger. Maybe instead of banning Guns, we should ban Stupid People?
My point in this whole article is that Stereotyping is a real world issue. Judging people for one crime and basing their punishments on another crime, is ridicule. It’s blasphemy against the Human Race. The truth is, we don’t know if anyone will ever commit a crime. Maybe we should just arrest everyone? Why? Everyone is a capable killer. Ok, maybe not the crippled and those without limbs, but you get the idea.
While we’re at it, let’s arrest everyone in Martial Arts. Martial Arts teaches people how to use killing moves and blows. They could use those moves one day to kill someone. Are you seeing how stupid and ridiculous this is yet?
No, I’m not saying that we shouldn’t do something about Pedophiles. I’m saying that we should not punish those who have not yet committed a crime? Sense when is it a crime to watch a video? People watch horror films all the time that depict murders and crimes. Maybe we should arrest those people while we’re at it? Maybe I should shut up now? I’m giving “them” too many ideas.
Girl Scouts of America Fail – Come on Oreo

Image from Steam Feed
When it comes to America and Scouts you would think of either Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts. Boy Scouts have their Popcorn Program and the Girl Scouts have their Cookie Program. I’m willing to wager that the Cookie Program probably does better than the Popcorn one. Everyone loves cookies right? Especially Chocolate Covered cookies and the Mint Cookies.
Recently it was brought to my attention of a story where a friend’s daughter, the friend I met via Social Networking, started a campaign for a good cause to help send Troops that are over seas a box of cookies. This is a great opportunity for someone of such a young age to learn skills that are valuable for our modern times.
Granted, on the Girl Scouts website, they say and quoted……
“Your support helps us spread the word that buying Girl Scout cookies is more than just handing over money for a box. It’s about the skills and learning a girl gains from interacting directly with you. It’s about the experience of running her own cookie business and working with others. It’s the reason we don’t sell cookies online. And it’s why we encourage you to buy your cookies from a Girl Scout.”
First of all, don’t children learn people skills from being in School? Second, going door to door is so old school. What value does that add exactly? About the only people that go door to door nowadays are Mormons and Magazine Salesmen and the Magazine Salesmen are very few nowadays. So again, where is the value in this? So, unless you’re going to be a professional Mormon, it’s really a pointless activity.
Third, not selling cookies online is a big wasted effort. If you really want to teach a skill that will last a life time with these girls, teach them about the Online World and how to use it for a Business. That is after all where a large part of shopping is done today. Billions and Billions of dollars are spent online every year. You’re telling us that if they can learn to get a piece of that, it’s not a valuable skill?
Fourth, destroying the efforts of a girl trying to do Social Good in the World, is a disgrace to Humanity. Welcome to the New Age Girl Scouts. Either you’re on board or you’re not. Apparently, you’re not, because your policies still reflect terms and conditions that may have been valuable in the 1960s.
This was originally brought to my attention via a blog post written by Robert M. Caruso on Steam Feed. Robert had mentioned a great idea that @Oreo should take the opportunity here to do some Social Good and put this girl @emmavermaak01 in charge of the campaign. After all, the original website got over 500 thousand hits within a short period of time. Guess what Girl Scouts? You snooze you lose.
This girl has a heart filled with Social Good. Just recently, I learned that she wanted to donate any prizes that she might win to an organization that helps kids who have lost parents in the Military. A striving example for what girls should be, wouldn’t you say @girlscouts?
Another blog post about this was written and shared to me. This blog post happens to come from the site called Common Cents Mom, who happens to be a Girl Scout supporter herself. Quite frankly, a lot of people are disappointed in the actions of Girl Scouts of America. For starters, no knowing their own policies, for second, stopping the efforts of Social Good, for third, having policies that are out-dated.
Right now, I’m torn between boycotting Girl Scout Cookies and sending a Check to this girl anyway so she can get any prizes she might win and continue Social Good. What would you do? I encourage you to write your own blog post and send it to Oreo on Twitter. Let’s help spread the message. I for one will forever be a fan of Oreo and purchase more of their cookies if they do.
Emma, keep up the great work and know that there are supporters behind you, regardless of what you decide to do. Continue to do the Social Good and you’ll always have a following.
The Dating Game – Why So Many Fail
The average person thinks of dating as going out, having a good time, and potentially finding the love of their lives. Many people fail in the last aspect of dating – finding that one true love. There are many possible reasons for this, however I believe that there is really one main reason. What is that reason?
Compatibility
The problem is, most people don’t really know what compatibility means. When you’re trying to find a person for life, it’s very important to understand compatibility. It can mean the difference between success and utter failure and by utter failure, I mean having to choose a second rate woman to live the rest of your life with instead of your prime choice. This one action, is where so many men and women both fail to see the big picture.
Friends are great to have around and help us through the hard times. They in general should know us better than most other people. They are the ones that we turn to when we need someone to talk to. They are the ones that may or may not know our darkest secrets. They are the ones that are so much like us, that they could technically be considered a twin. So, why on Earth, would you try to find that same person in your soul mate?
Compatibility doesn’t necessarily mean that you have a ton of things in common. In fact, in this case compatibility means that you more or less complement each other. Just like Red, Blue, and Green colors complement each other during Christmas time, men and women should complement each other to the extent that they bring out the best in each other. They may even go as far as being someone that could help with a hobby or business.
Let’s take someone that’s a Writer for example, like me. If I were to look for a soul mate, she might be good at editing. Someone with good editing skills would complement my writing talents. We would need to be able to work together as a team in order to get a novel out to the public or an article.
Graphics Artists would also be a good pick for a Writer. They would be able to do the art work for the book, as well as the cover design. Do you see what I mean by complementing now? Do you see what I mean by compatibility? A Writer, Editor, or Graphics Artist would be like the colors Red, Blue, and Green. They just go together. This is really what compatibility means.
The average person wouldn’t date someone that was just like their mother, that could very easily end in disaster. Would you even think about dating someone that was just like you? That could also end in disaster. So, when you’re thinking of the Prime Choice for a woman, forget everything you think you know. Set aside what you used to know about compatibility for a second. Then make a list of traits and or talents that would be compatible with your own. This is the kind of woman or man that you want to seek.
It is good to have things in common with the person you’re seeking, but not so much that they would be your twin. It’s also not a good idea to marry or date someone that listens to music that you don’t like or doesn’t like similar food that you do. What good is it marrying someone that is similar to you, but will drive you crazy every time they turn on Rap or Country music?
Balance in anything is the key, you want there to be a slight mixture there to make things interesting. I’m all for trying new things, as long as the music and the food are as close as they can possibly be. Other than that, keep in mind your overall goal in life and find a complementing partner. You’ll probably be much happier if you did.
Customer Service and Automated Phone Systems – Infographic
It’s been a while since I’ve written anything on this blog, so I thought I’d share a little infographic that I made. When you think of customer service, does it annoy you? Anger you? Drive you nuts because you can’t get a hold of a human being? How does being transferred multiple times make you feel?
What is your over all feelings towards Customer Service, especially those blasted Automated Systems that tell you to push one for English or push two for Spanish. Sense when does America have to cater to any one specific minority group. You won’t find other European countries doing that. Either you learn their language or hire a translator.
Enough rambling, I hope that you enjoyed this little infographic that I put together. Hopefully it will shed some light on anyone with a business thinking about getting one of these cursed systems. Remember, Angry customers means that they’ll be more likely to find a competitor.
Save the company money? Not if customers are so furious with the system that they choose to go else where.
Chocolate Cake with Raspberry Mascarpone Filling and Chocolate Ganache Frosting
Reblogged from The Hungry Artist:
Recently we celebrated our nephew's 20th birthday. He's a chocolate lover so I decided to make him a chocolate cake. To dress it up, I added a raspberry spin to it.
I used my go to chocolate cake recipe which is in Mark Bittman's How to Cook Everything. The chocolate ganache frosting is my favorite because I don't care so much for buttercream frostings.
Slow Cooker Pork Shoulder
Reblogged from The Hungry Artist:
If you want to economize and save time, try investing in a slow cooker. It's one of the best appliances I've ever bought -- and cheap too! I think it was $20-something at Target.
I'll be the first to admit that I haven't taken full advantage of it -- there are so many things you can make with one! Our favorite though is slow cooker barbecue pork shoulder.
Healthy Desserts for Kids
Reblogged from The Hungry Artist:
Awhile ago, during the summer (those days seem far away!), I had the opportunity to join Katherine Lee of about.com in her kitchen for a fun afternoon of cooking and filming!
Katherine has a wonderful parenting blog on about.com, and she invited me to contribute some healthy dessert ideas for kids. We made everything in her kitchen and the lovely Meredith filmed us.
