My Theory On the Evolution of Mankind!
Many theories exist on the theories of how mankind evolved. Many people still believe that mankind did not evolve and was created as is. Perhaps that’s true, but what if what we evolved from no longer exist? Maybe, just maybe it exist to this day on another planet some where?
The evolution theory suggests that we share a common ancestor with apes. However, with the recent findings of the Mars Rover that was launched seven years ago, we might be able to come up with a different theory. Here me out for a moment.
This theory correlates with the old theory that mankind came from mars. The NASA Rover recently found conditions that once suited for Ancient Life on Mars. In a lake bed that the Rover was exploring, sediments were found and analyzed. The analyst found that there were elements such as: sulfur, nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, and carbon. These elements are key elements that are needed to support life, even on a microbial level.
Let’s go back a million years ago. Yes, I said one million years ago. Life on mars could have very well be plausible. Let’s put Mars in Earth’s place where it is today. The Habitual Zone. The pull of the Sun’s Gravity causes the planets to move closer and closer, inching further towards its death. So, if mars was once in Earth’s position, then life more than likely existed at one point.
My theory simply states this:
At one point, Mars was inching closer and closer to destruction, because of harsher and harsher conditions. The citizens of Mars had to abandon their home world in search for a new world. It just so happens that Earth at this point was very habitual and had much life to offer. This life could become a food source and it did. Because of mankind’s destructive nature, they have effectively slowed the evolutionary phases of creatures on Earth. Thus, little has changed over the years.
Upon arriving, we quickly established ourselves as dominant species. Our intelligence, our battle tactics, and our will to survive took us far. This would explain why species such as Apes, Monkeys, etc do not have the same level of intelligence that we do. They also do not have the same decision making level that we do.
Therefor, it would be safe to assume that Mankind did not share a common ancestor with Apes and Monkeys, but instead evolved from something entirely different. What that is, we’ll probably never know. We’ll probably never know whether or not this theory is even correct, but it is plausible to be accepted by some and ridiculed by others.
What is my biggest argument for this?
Well, as I mentioned earlier, Primates, such as Apes and Monkeys, do not share out level of intelligence and reasoning. This level of intelligence and reasoning would take many many years to develop. So many years in fact, that there should be a clear path of our evolution on Earth. When in reality there is no clear path. Evolution on Earth is a lot like Religion. People will argue over minute things all day long and stay divided over stupid things. That is why you see so many different branches of Christianity for example.
“As long as there are two people on this planet, you’ll find something to argue about.” So sayeth the Genie in the X Files episode. Yet, most people will agree with the vast majority of Proven Science. For example, most people do not argue with the chemistry properties of certain chemicals. Most people do not argue over how the weather works. Most people do not argue of gardening.
I can’t help but to wonder if NASA will ever find fossilized remains on Mars. Wouldn’t that be the day? One step closer to supporting my theory. Maybe it’s time we rewrote history or at the very least considered it? You have two sides of the story and none agree with the other. None seem to want to budge. On one side, you have those who believe that you don’t have to see it to believe it and on the other? You won’t believe in something unless you can at least feel it. You also have people that believe only in “Seeing is Believing,” but we all know that seeing can be an illusion. We also know that your body can play tricks on you. So, who is correct here?
I say, just live your life the best you can and if we’re to be judged, let the one doing the judging base it off that.
If there is life that is found on Mars, would that change your perspective? Do you think it’s time we started ignoring what the books say and only support Proven Science? Leave a comment below and don’t forget to share the article.
What Is God Exactly?
There comes a time in ones life, when one must step back and start thinking about their life and what exactly they believe. If there are things that we know, is that life is not easy. We also know that the blind will be lead by the blind. That people are gullible.
Using logic, we can easily deduct that very few people even come close to understanding what God really is. So many Religions try to describe God, yet when they try to describe God, the unintentionally put limits on God. That which has no limits.
When I was in School, the Big Bang Theory taught that in the beginning there was Nothing. Then all the dust in the Universe was gathered into one spot. This spot was so compact, that all the dust fit in a spot the size of a period on this page. After that, it exploded, apparently for no reason. From this explosion, all planets, stars, etc were formed. Sounds a bit far fetched don’t you think?
I’ve been given the fortunate opportunity to have a lot of time to spar. Time to think and think some more. Time to observe and time to learn. From this observation and time, I’ve learned one thing…..
“That nothing does not exist.”
Let me explain. If you were to create something, what do you need? Well, for starters you need to gather your materials into one place. Then, you would pull, push, and carve your way into the creation you’ve envisioned. Hmm, what is this starting to sound like? The Big Bang Theory perhaps? Except that there has to be something to begin with in the beginning. Where else would you get your parts from?
I’m not at all saying that God used the Big Bang to create the Universe, but I can’t exactly disprove it either.
Religion after Religion has a story that explains miraculous things. They give no explanation of how things came about. This is what Science is trying to do. Science is not our enemy. Religion however is quite the opposite from my observations.
Religion tries to quite that voice inside that says “question everything.” Religions don’t want people to be able to think for themselves. Religion wants people to be stuck in one spot the rest of their lives. Easily controllable.
So what then exactly is God?
From the best of my understanding, God is simply the beginning and the end. Just like the Bible Says. God is what makes up the Universe. God is the basic existence that holds the Universe together. God in a sense is infinite. God knows no boundaries. Only Humans place boundaries and limits on themselves. Thus, placing limits on God. What we can’t perceive, we must have faith in. This is the common mentality that is in Religion.
What is wrong then with having faith? Well, for starters, if you don’t know for certain, without a doubt, 100% true, that what you believe is the truth, then faith is pointless. What we do know though is that we have a Sunrise and a Sunset. That we have day and night. That eventually our Sun will burn out and be destroyed. That new life is taking place right now all over the Universe. These are things that we can have faith in, because we know without a shadow of a doubt, that they are true.
However, now that we know that you can’t have something without nothing. We have hope. We can now have faith that God does exist. We can faithfully pray to God everyday if we choose, knowing that God will hear us. God is everywhere. It is proven Science that the Universe responds to our brain waves. God does listen.
How you choose to perceive God, is really up to you. There is a lot that we don’t quite yet know or understand. For example: what does God really look like? While I myself have an idea, I’m not sure 100%. However, I can tell you how to find out what God is or might be.
Many people believe that we were created in “God’s Image.” In order thought to understand that Image, we must first look at ourselves and what people believe. In Religious text, God often takes the form of man to communicate with them. If God has to take the form of Man to communicate with them, then our physical bodies are not ideal representations of what God actually is.
To get a bigger picture, we must first dive inward. In towards out spirit, our subconscious. How exactly do we reach our Subconscious? It’s easier than you think. Try doing these steps. It’s time to meditate, so find a spot where you can get comfortable.
- Close your eyes
- Relax in a comfortable position
- Let your thoughts flow through your mind
- Imagine your thoughts as a roll of film
- Your thoughts are now each frame
- What you’re looking for is that pause between the frame
- Find that pause between your thoughts and grab it
- Hold it for at least 5 minutes
What do you see? What do you feel? What do you notice? This ladies and gentleman is the closest we’ll ever get to God. Endless, Infinite, without Void, all Powerful. Sounds about like God right? Yet at the same time, this is very hard to explain. Few people ever experience this on a daily basis. Only those who truly grasp what meditation is does.
Have you ever had someone tell you to think of nothing when you mediate? The problem with this form of mediation teaching, is that when you think of nothing…..”you’re thinking.” It’s like that mind game, “if I told you to not think of a Pink Elephant, you’d think of a Pink Elephant.”
What do you think? Will we ever truly understand what God is? Is this the closest we’ll ever come? Will we ever go any closer and start unlocking what is that which has no beginning and has no end?
Stereotyping Even Pedophiles and Porn Watchers
It seems that to me people are very afraid, deathly afraid of talking about certain topics. Am I wrong to assume that? I thought I would step out of my comfort zone and talk about a talk that few people ever talk about.
People today are over-protective of their children and for good reasons. Perverts and Pedophiles abound. They’re out there, lurking and waiting in the shadows. Watching from a distance waiting to strike their next victim. Often times their next victim happens to be children.
What then can we do about it? As adults, as Protectors of the Innocent, there are a few things we can do. However, it’s probably wrong of us to assume that all people are created equal, therefor, all crimes should get the same punishment. What am I talking about here? I’m talking about the people who watch Child Pornography vs the people who Commit the Acts. These are clearly two different types of people, yet people often lump them into one category.
Using a little logic and what we know about people and psychology, we can come to a safe conclusion that not all people are created equal. For starters, there are two different types of people. There are those who have Fantasies and those who Take Action. These two types of people can be said for anyone. There are those who watch sports and have sports fantasies. There are those who play sports and make it a reality. There are those who dream and fantasize about money, then there are those who actually go out and make money.
What does this have to do with Cyber Crimes and Pedophiles? Well, just that. Pedophiles are the action takers, the ones who go out and deliberately hunt down their victims. While the Porn Watchers are the ones who stay at home and have fantasies.
I know what some people are thinking right now. ”But…but…they may actually commit a crime later on in life.” What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? My biggest issue here is that the Judicial system has the same punishments set in place for actual Pedophiles, versus those who merely watch porn.
Imagine if you woke up one day and had been placed in the same category as a Pirate, you know, the kind that deal in pirated movies, music, etc. Not because you’re doing the pirating yourself, but because you’ve watched a pirated film or listened to some pirated music. You didn’t put that there, but they still put you in the same category as the distributor. Is it too much to ask to not put people in the same category? Stereotyping at it’s finest.
What if we all of a sudden banned spoons and forks? We’re banning and making illegal the use of Forks and Spoons, because they make people Fat. Instead, everyone is regulated to the use of Sporks. They’re smaller and more convenient, not to mention able to perform twice the duty.
How far is the judicial system and the people going to take this? Who knows, maybe you know someone who was affected by this “Cyber Crime?”
It’s like people that claim “Guns Kill People.” No Stupid. Guns don’t kill people. People Kill People. Guns are inanimate objects until someone picks up the Gun and pulls the Trigger. Maybe instead of banning Guns, we should ban Stupid People?
My point in this whole article is that Stereotyping is a real world issue. Judging people for one crime and basing their punishments on another crime, is ridicule. It’s blasphemy against the Human Race. The truth is, we don’t know if anyone will ever commit a crime. Maybe we should just arrest everyone? Why? Everyone is a capable killer. Ok, maybe not the crippled and those without limbs, but you get the idea.
While we’re at it, let’s arrest everyone in Martial Arts. Martial Arts teaches people how to use killing moves and blows. They could use those moves one day to kill someone. Are you seeing how stupid and ridiculous this is yet?
No, I’m not saying that we shouldn’t do something about Pedophiles. I’m saying that we should not punish those who have not yet committed a crime? Sense when is it a crime to watch a video? People watch horror films all the time that depict murders and crimes. Maybe we should arrest those people while we’re at it? Maybe I should shut up now? I’m giving “them” too many ideas.
Girl Scouts of America Fail – Come on Oreo

Image from Steam Feed
When it comes to America and Scouts you would think of either Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts. Boy Scouts have their Popcorn Program and the Girl Scouts have their Cookie Program. I’m willing to wager that the Cookie Program probably does better than the Popcorn one. Everyone loves cookies right? Especially Chocolate Covered cookies and the Mint Cookies.
Recently it was brought to my attention of a story where a friend’s daughter, the friend I met via Social Networking, started a campaign for a good cause to help send Troops that are over seas a box of cookies. This is a great opportunity for someone of such a young age to learn skills that are valuable for our modern times.
Granted, on the Girl Scouts website, they say and quoted……
“Your support helps us spread the word that buying Girl Scout cookies is more than just handing over money for a box. It’s about the skills and learning a girl gains from interacting directly with you. It’s about the experience of running her own cookie business and working with others. It’s the reason we don’t sell cookies online. And it’s why we encourage you to buy your cookies from a Girl Scout.”
First of all, don’t children learn people skills from being in School? Second, going door to door is so old school. What value does that add exactly? About the only people that go door to door nowadays are Mormons and Magazine Salesmen and the Magazine Salesmen are very few nowadays. So again, where is the value in this? So, unless you’re going to be a professional Mormon, it’s really a pointless activity.
Third, not selling cookies online is a big wasted effort. If you really want to teach a skill that will last a life time with these girls, teach them about the Online World and how to use it for a Business. That is after all where a large part of shopping is done today. Billions and Billions of dollars are spent online every year. You’re telling us that if they can learn to get a piece of that, it’s not a valuable skill?
Fourth, destroying the efforts of a girl trying to do Social Good in the World, is a disgrace to Humanity. Welcome to the New Age Girl Scouts. Either you’re on board or you’re not. Apparently, you’re not, because your policies still reflect terms and conditions that may have been valuable in the 1960s.
This was originally brought to my attention via a blog post written by Robert M. Caruso on Steam Feed. Robert had mentioned a great idea that @Oreo should take the opportunity here to do some Social Good and put this girl @emmavermaak01 in charge of the campaign. After all, the original website got over 500 thousand hits within a short period of time. Guess what Girl Scouts? You snooze you lose.
This girl has a heart filled with Social Good. Just recently, I learned that she wanted to donate any prizes that she might win to an organization that helps kids who have lost parents in the Military. A striving example for what girls should be, wouldn’t you say @girlscouts?
Another blog post about this was written and shared to me. This blog post happens to come from the site called Common Cents Mom, who happens to be a Girl Scout supporter herself. Quite frankly, a lot of people are disappointed in the actions of Girl Scouts of America. For starters, no knowing their own policies, for second, stopping the efforts of Social Good, for third, having policies that are out-dated.
Right now, I’m torn between boycotting Girl Scout Cookies and sending a Check to this girl anyway so she can get any prizes she might win and continue Social Good. What would you do? I encourage you to write your own blog post and send it to Oreo on Twitter. Let’s help spread the message. I for one will forever be a fan of Oreo and purchase more of their cookies if they do.
Emma, keep up the great work and know that there are supporters behind you, regardless of what you decide to do. Continue to do the Social Good and you’ll always have a following.
Why Religions Eventually Fail
I’m not here to bash Religions, in fact I’m here to speak the truth. How do I know this is the Truth? It’s happened time and time again throughout History. Every single major Empire has fallen, sooner or later. Religions are not exempt from this and I’ll explain why.
The biggest problem with Religion today is well….the People. The fact is, many people are divided among their belief system. No two people will ever agree 100% of the time on their Holy Text as a whole. Different parts of yet, yes, but not the entire thing.
There are Billions of people on this planet and that’s a staggering number. Even if we only had half a million or even just one million people, you’d still have people arguing and disagreeing with each other. Even the best of friends disagree with each other and only those that can set aside their differences truly have a strong friendship.
The Key to any Religions Success lies in Setting Aside your Differences. Yet, at the same time people will argue within their own Church. In fact, some will argue to the point of causing chaos in a sense. Then there is always those Wolves in Sheep Skins that will Talk the Talk, but won’t Walk the Walk.
Here’s the even bigger problem. Belief systems, only really cater to a few. Don’t believe me? Take one good look at Governments. They always cater to the Rich don’t they? Making it harder and harder every day for you to become better off. Inflation doesn’t help either.
The growth in a Church is what I consider the Inflation of the Church. It rises to the point where there are too many and then people split into various different branches. It always happens. Let’s look at Christianity as an example. Look at how many branches there are? Catholic, Prodistant, Mormon, Baptist, Methodist, etc, etc. Each one of those formed based on a disagreement. If this continues, there is likely to be millions of smaller branches.
I myself am a firm believer in a system that allows people to learn on their own. At a pace that is relevant to them. These people will seek out the knowledge that they need at the right moments. Many people already believe that there is a Higher Power or a God/Goddess out there. I for one do believe this. There has to be something much more powerful than I, otherwise I wouldn’t be here.
However, I won’t follow a Doctrine that brainwashes into believing something you’re not entirely sure about to begin with. Yes, I did say Brainwash. Don’t believe me? They tell the same story over and over every single year. The same story around Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc, etc. They’re trying to brainwash people so they’ll stay in the Church.
Another reason why Religions Will Eventually Fail. The Youth. If you Force someone to go to Church and make the think they Believe the same that you do, they’ll hate you for it. In fact, they’ll strike out on their own paths searching for something else. And Churches wonder why their Youth are Rebellious.
Let’s take a look at a metaphor. Sense Holy Text are so filled with them. If you take a look at a gutter pipe that comes down from your Gutter. Let’s say it has no Gutter Pipe.
Now, let’s say that rain gutter is causing a good sized hole in the ground because of the water dropping out of it. If you take 2-3 people, they should be able to fix it without a problem. For example, the solution would be to add a pipe to it so the water can drain.
However, the problem lies with adding more people to the issue. If you had 10 people trying to fix one problem, then they might not agree with each other. They might agree with what the initial problem is, but they might not agree with the proper pipe for example to fix the problem. Some might even go as far as suggesting putting a Barrel underneath to catch the rain. See the problem here?
And this is why every empire must fall. Ever heard that quote? Empire get too large, and then they get out of control, and then they fall. These are all facts that have happened throughout History. You may not like these facts, but go check your History Books. The Roman Empire fell because it was too great. The Alexandrian Empire eventually fell. Hitler got too big for his control and look what happened to him.
This is even happening today with Greece. Greece is falling and falling hard. Why? Because too many people work for the Government and there aren’t enough people to support it. The same will eventually happen to all great Religions of Today’s time. Well, that’s enough of my rant for the day. I hope that you have a wonderful day and week ahead.
God vs the Devil – What I Think!
Note: This is merely my way of looking at things. Please don’t judge me or hate me. I’m not trying to convince you here, just sharing a thought provoking statement.
The struggle has always been between Light and Darkness, between Good and Evil, and God and the Devil. Seems like Man has always been caught in the middle, between a struggle of Balance and Power. Corruption runs deep in the veins of Man, for He is a wicked Soul.
The Story of God and the Devil to me is a mere representation of what Man has become. While man strives for Enlightenment and Perfection, many things do lead him astray. God and the Devil are merely the powers that struggle from within. While those close to us, represent the Man stuck in the middle.
For even Holy Text tell us that Man is Wicked. Men will fantasize and act upon the molestation of children, boys and girls alike. They will Lust after that which doesn’t belong to them, another Man’s wife. They will torture others and take great joy in it. Little do they know, the greatest torture is the one that they do to themselves.
For even your Government is not that Angelic. Men look high in the ranks of power for guidance, only to find that the corruption runs deep, Very Deep. While Men make money off Wars and Destruction of the one thing that keeps them alive. The very Planet that they call Mother.
It’s two different people that were joined together. Instead of a two faced person, you have a two souled person. One side says No, while the other side says Yes. It’s only a matter of time before we give in to Yes, but for what Good is it, for what gain? Many of Men have answered Yes for personal gain, while few choose yet to benefit Mankind as a whole.
It’s not about where you go in life, it’s about who you bring along for the ride and who you affect in a Positive way. It’s not about being great, it’s about doing the one thing you’re the best at so others can be inspired by your greatness.
No matter how you choose to look at life, it’s always the greatest story every told. Even the ones who do much of nothing or at least think they do. Everyone has an impact on at least one person. Now it’s up to you to decide where you’re going to go with it.
What Really Annoys Me?
Everyone has a list of things that annoy them. While some are much more extensive then others, some are very tolerable people. Here is a list of things that annoy me.
- People that don’t use their turn signals.
- People that like to hit the break hard, so they can turn in in with less space and get there quicker. They’re going to cause an accident one of these days.
- People that think they’re better than everyone else. Someone on Twitter today said, “A Cop pulled me, that’s a bunch of bull.” Guess what, if you’re speeding or driving reckless, of course they’re going to pull you. Get over it.
- That also brings me to people that always point to everything that goes wrong as being racist. Get over yourself, just because you’re Black, it doesn’t mean your special or have special privileges, contrary to popular belief. I hear it on the news all the time, a Black was shot by a White Cop. ”That’s racist,” they always say. Please.
- People that don’t use Common Sense. Seriously. Use it people. It’s there for a reason.
- People that don’t know how to use Social Media sites like Facebook and Twitter. You don’t have to tell us every little detail that goes on in your lives. Ok, I’m guilty of telling people I’m off to do some chores. But seriously, some people take it way to far. There should a Social Media education course, starting in the 6th grade. Teach them how to use it before they’re even old enough to really use it for what it was designed for. Networking.
- Trolls and Haters. You can’t win every war, but there isn’t really any need to go around Trolling people or Hating them. Seriously, what does that do? What did you accomplish by doing that? Only made yourself look like a 10 year old. Oh, I’m sorry, I know 10 year olds who act better than that. Instead of Trolling and Hating, why not put that energy towards actually doing something about your lame excuses.
- Religion. Yep, it annoys me. It’s not so much the concept or the belief that annoys me. It’s the fact that people go out and try shoving it down your throat. Like their trying to brain wash you into believing what they do, so their Church can collect more money so they can brain wash more people. But seriously, if you want to believe that then fine, I’m not going to stop you.
- Chicago. Yep, that annoys me. Ever sense Obama was elected, Chicago has been in the news and a lot. No other President had their home town covered so much. What’s so special about this one?
- Politics and Economy. Have you ever asked a random person where the Governments money comes from? Go ahead, ask one next time. In fact, ask several. If someone tells you that they just print it, then they don’t know anything about Economy. If they just printed it, then what the hell do we need Taxes for? If you think about it like that, shouldn’t you be more concerned where the Government is spending your hard earned money?
I’m sure I”m probably missing a thing or two. So tell me, what annoys you? I thought this image was appropriate. Sense it is Caturday.
If I Were The Devil – Food For Thought
Paul Harvey wrote a rendition titled: If I Were The Devil. You can easily find it on Youtube. I thought I’d write a similar rendition. Just a food for thought kind of thing. With no further waiting, here is my version….
If I Were The Devil
If I were the Devil, I’d build a nation to rule all nations.
I’d make Man create a Religion based off a book.
A book that is merely inspired by a Higher Power, but written by Man.
The one creature so full of mistakes, but so eager to perfect.
I would divide man by dividing their faith.
Put them against one another, with reason to discriminate.
For their greatest weakness, is their differences.
Divide and conquer until none are left.
Until all are lost and far from the truth.
I would make Priest live alone, giving them an anterior motive.
All the while others live in Marry.
For I need not do this, because the Devil is not me.
The Devil is you and you’ll do as you please.
Written by Roger Hoyt
So, let’s think about that for a while and try to put aside our differences. It’s not about being right. It’s about getting along. We all share this Planet, whether we like it or not.
Stupidity of Blind Religious Followers
I have to get this off my chest, it’s been bugging me for a while now. You’ve heard of those stories in the news right? The ones where Religious people, mainly Christians get captured, put in prison and possibly even killed?
Yet at the same time, many of these people knew the dangers of going to those countries? Here’s a thought, if you don’t break the law here, why would you in another country?
It also bugs me too, that people will come to another Country and assume that they have Rights, Special Rights at that. ”You can’t arrest me, you’re just racist. I have rights.” They would often say. For starters, you do have rights, you have the right to follow our laws and you have the right to get arrested if you break them.
Same goes for any other Country. Some Countries have forbidden Christianity and other forms of Religion. Now, what on Earth would possess a person to go and break a law in another Country? Then their family members scream and holler as loud as they can at the government to try and bring them home.
Luke 9:5 ”And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.” Go on, look it up, I know you want too.
Now, many of you know that I’m not Religious, but Spiritualist and that I’m not denying God here, I’m just denying Religion. For this very reason. Far too many people are going places they should be and doing stupid stuff.
If you’re going to be a Follower of Christ, then follow his teachings. Don’t forget, that if you’re not welcomed somewhere, don’t go there. It’s that simple. It’s the blind leading the blind. If you don’t know what your Bible says, then why are you going anywhere? Seriously, this applies to all Religions.
Use a little thinking before you go and do stupid stuff.
Then one said to Him, ‘Lord, are there few who are saved?’ And He said to them, ‘Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.’ (Luke 13:23-24)
Sea Lions Being Slaughtered Because of Greedy Fisherman?
There was a story that was recently brought to my attention. Apparently, the officials in Oregon, think it’s ok to Slaughter Sea Lions. Many people, my self included, would beg the differ.
Apparently, there is a rare species of Salmon in the river where these Sea Lions are at. At the same time, the Fisherman are allowed to fish about 17% of the fish. While the Sea Lions consume much less, around 1.1%. You can see the drama unfolding already can’t you?
What I want to know, is if the Salmon is dwindling, or the species is rare, then why the heck are they even allowing them to fish? Why not leave them to the Sea Lions?
Yet, at the same time, the Fisherman had sent a letter to the Oregon officials stating they wanted them REMOVED? When you think of Removed, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? It doesn’t necessarily mean killed. It just means relocated. Yet, you don’t hear the Fisherman speaking up do you?
The problem is, there is another solution. Rather than take the time and effort to relocate them, they just kill them and brand them with irons. May as well be sending them to the slaughter house.
Some people just don’t get it. It’s not always about what the cost of something is. It’s about doing what’s right. It’s about looking for alternatives. Other methods. Perhaps they could even farm the Salmon to help the population out?
Rather than blame the fisherman for over fishing our seas and rivers, is it really right to accuse innocent wild life that is just trying to thrive? They’re no different than we our in that sense. We can grow plants and raise animals. Why are we even tampering with their food source that isn’t as easy to farm?
By increasing the awareness and putting pressure on the Oregon officials. We can make them find another alternative. You can contact the Governor of Oregon below.
Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber:
phone: (503) 378-4582
In the meantime, I had a list of things to do today. One of those things was to write a poem. You can read it below as well, because it pertains to this. Some say that I have a way with words. That I can say so much with so little. What do you think?
Denying the Sea
The world is in denial.
Yet they’re willing to go that extra mile.
To fight for something that they love.
Only to give something else a shove.
Why can’t we all see?
That there’s another way in the Sea.
To share and love this day.
Working together is what I pray.
