Colorful Painting You Can Admire – Image of the Day
Do you enjoy art? More specifically paintings? Certain paintings do grab my attention. Those that do have to be fairly realistic and/or full of vibrant colors. Maybe I’m just picky when it comes to paintings, but this one really stuck out to me.
It’s easy to see the vibrant colors in this and it makes my eyes wonder from side to side admiring the detail. The setting is also picturesque. The purples, blues, greens, and reds all joined together in a colorful fashion. The waves crashing on the shore and a little cottage to come home to. Sounds heavenly to me.
Dragonflies Are Awesome – Image of the Day
I’m a big fan of Dragonflies. Seriously though, who isn’t? Always used to watch them dance around the air when I was little. Such an amazing site to see them on the prowl for other insects.
I think what draws me to them the most is the sheer beauty they have. Those reflective scales and a magnificent color range make them worth looking at. You can’t help but notice a Dragonfly when it flies around. What do you think? Are you a fan of Dragonflies?
After The Full Moon – Image of the Day
It’s one thing to appreciate the Moon for what it’s worth, it’s another thing entirely to try and photograph it. Unless you have a camera with a very slow shutter speed, it’s very difficult to actually capture that. Then again, having a remote for your camera would help too.
As you can see, the image below turned out ok, considering it was the best one that I took last night. Also, my camera only has a 4 second shutter speed at the most. I feel, that if I had a slower shutter speed than that, I could probably get a better picture. Then again, maybe this effect was caused by the slightest bit of movement?
Anyway. I still thought it was an interesting image that thought I would share it. Things look so much different in the dark. So, what do you notice in this Image? What do you notice in the Dark?
Massive Canyon On Mars – Image of the Day
If you thought the Grand Canyon was…well Grand, wait until you check out this massive canyon on Mars. This Canyon is about 11 times larger than the Grand Canyon and clearly shows evidence that there was once water on Mars. At a whopping 2,500 miles across the surface of Mars and a Depth of 5.6 miles, it would make any man afraid of heights if you were looking down.
Ok, maybe not every man, but it would certainly be an interesting site to see. If you’re anything like me, you can’t help but wonder how can something this massive exist?
Clearly Mars had water on it once. Perhaps it was at one point in the Habitual Zone of the Solar System? Which might explain the mysterious structures found on Mars, such as the Pyramid and the Face. I have no idea if those are real or not, but it does make you wonder.
Himalayan Mountains – Image of the Day
The Himalayan Mountains have 10 of the highest mountain peaks in the world. According to Primawan, the main chunk of includes 5 Mountains which include: Mt. Everest, Mount Godwin Austen, Annapurna, Kanchenjunga, and Nanga Parbat Peak.
With scenery like this, and the views, you’ll want to go there at least once in your life time. I’m adding this to my bucket list. Who knows, maybe I’ll see a Yeti or something. lol Be sure to check out some of the other Wallpapers that they have there.
