Excuses, Excuses – It’s About Time

Ever notice how people are always making excuses and pouting about certain things?  For the longest time I used to do just that.  It was always something.

First it was the economy.  Then there was the fact that 150+ applicants applied for the same job, so why should I bother with such a saturated market?  Then, it was the fact that I don’t have a ride, without a car, I can’t go anywhere.

I’ll admit, life can be tough sometimes, but we have to pull through and look at the upside.  Perhaps, the reason I’m going through all of this, is so that I can become a leader and potentially provide jobs for others.  In an otherwise down economy, this is a plus, a big plus.

No one really likes being unemployed.  There is little reward in this.  So, why not join me and start creating jobs?  Let’s become a leader in the next generation?

There will always be excuses though that we’ll have to keep an eye out for.  For example: I’ve been having a big excuse about not being in the mood to write on my Novel, yet at the same time, I’m keeping up with a Blog everyday.  Well, nearly everyday.

Perhaps my biggest problem is I’m too stressed?  I think it’s time I started looking at that as well and started being a little more creative.  Between playing Minecraft and Painting, I think I can relieve a bit of that stress.

Also, it doesn’t hurt to start living like a kid again.  Remember when you were little and built your first log cabin out of Popsicle Sticks?  That was fun, especially when you did it with family members.  Nowadays, we’re a lot more creative and could potentially make a full blown house with rooms and all.

Are you with me?  Let’s drop the excuses and start taking charge.

Google Plus – It’s All About the Fundamentals

I’m going to start a blogging series here on my blog about Google Plus.  Sense it’s all about the fundamentals, I thought I would explain what those were.  A lot of people go about Social Media in a way that they don’t even understand.  It’s mind boggling really.  If you do the same thing over and over and expect different results, then what kind of person does that make you?  Go ahead and leave a comment below.

So, here is a list of the main fundamentals of building a following.

  1. Content – It’s always about this isn’t it?
  2. Connect – If you don’t do this, you may as well hang it up.
  3. Share, Share, Share – Really, it’s not that hard.

These are the three basics that you must get down.  If you don’t, then I can’t help you.

Producing Content for Google Plus is rather easy.  Images are a great start.  People love to share, +1, and comment on them.  You’ll get a lot of interaction out of sharing Images and Video, so be sure to do both.

Connecting is easy too.  Just click on that add to circle button at the top right of the screen.  Easy right?  You can create other circles, but I think that’s for another post.

If you have numerous circles, share content with those circles.  You’re more likely to get interaction, or you can just share it publicly and use the circles to find content.  Sharing is as simple as hitting that Share Arrow in the middle at the bottom of the post.

Get these fundamentals down and you’ll be able to use them across any network.  Google Plus is a great network to build a following.  No matter who you are, you have a specialty and something to offer.  So, go out and get started.  Can you think of a few more fundamentals that people need to get down?

The Pounding – Poem – by Roger Hoyt

The Pounding

There is a disturbance in the force.
My mind isn’t running the normal course.
The head is pounding away.
I think my body is about to sway.
How can I even think?
When it hurts to just blink.
Is there no remedy for this?
Can I not find my peaceful bliss?
Perhaps a pill will suffice?
Day after day, I roll the dice.
Playing the game, but I’m alone.
I had it coming, should have known.
You can’t win every time.
The clock tics and the head does chime.

Back to Nature

Back to Nature

The world is not dull, for it sets the trend.
Oh, the message it is trying to send.
Storms rage as the Earth shakes the foundation.
Unwary passengers are at the station.
Unknowing of the events to come.
Or from whence they are from.

The stage is set for now.
Soon, the Earth will take a bow.
For even we do not listen.
Now we believe we have risen.

Shall we not walk away.
Live and learn in a new way.
Build the love and live in harmony.
For once, stop thinking about the money.
One day, we’ll wake up and see.
This is truly, what we wanted to be.

Spontaneous Healing #1

Spontaneous Healing is a book about people miraculously healing.  Many of the stories in the book are from people that were nearly dead, or should be dead today.  There are also tips and advice in the book for people who want to seek alternative paths to healing.  Rather than the modern methods.

In 1974 Kristen was 19 years old.  She was living with friends in Hawaii when she came down with an illness.  It all started with the sign of a Bruise that mysteriously showed up on her leg.  When the iron supplements that the Doctor suggested failed to produce results, they did some blood work.

She was eventually diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, a condition where the Bone Marrow doesn’t produce Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells, or Platelets.  This is very bad for the system because it weakens your immune system.  In other words, you’re much more susceptible to infections and viral attacks.

The bad part about this?  The Doctors ended up giving her Immunosuppressive drugs.  They also gave her something to keep her from having periods, so she wouldn’t have children.  Why?  The body was at risk of internal bleeding and damage.  Not a good time to get pregnant.

Needless to say, the Doctors ended up not being able to help her.  In other words, she was sent home to die, with support and aid from the Doctors.  That alone wasn’t enough for Kristen, she wanted to live.  She was bound and determined to live.

She managed to find a couple of Psychic Healers to work with over the time and also talked to a Nutritionist, that was a Certified Naturopathic Doctor.  By changing her diet, and getting help from the healers, she was able to overcome her sickness.

Even despite the fact that she’s not supposed to be able to have children, she now have 4 children that she’s raising today.  All because she didn’t give up, because she wanted to live.  Her immune system is back to normal and she’s living a happy life.

I will be sharing other stories of similar backgrounds that come from this book.  Not all of them, but a good portion of them.  I’ll be posting them as I read them.  The beauty of the Human Body is the fact that it can take care of itself.  Let’s start taking care of ourselves so we can heal.

Changing It Up

What is with companies and changing things on a consistent basis?  Ever noticed that?  That’s the reason why MySpace failed.  That’s the reason why Facebook will fail if they aren’t careful.

But is change really good for us?  Sometimes, people do actually change, many times for the better, but some times for the worse.  We have to learn to make changes in our lives that are positive and not negative.

First off, what are positive changes?   Positive Changes are changes that make us a better person.  That make us stronger.  Even if at first they seem negative.  One might experience a majestic view that allows us to be inspired.  That’s a good change.

What about a negative change?  Negative Changes are those that change us for the worse.  It could be a change that sends us into shock, then into anger.  It could be a change that happens within and causes us to have a sickness.  Which can be both bad or good changes.

But how can we control changes in our lives?  I’ll admit, you won’t be able to physically change everything that happens in your life, but you can change a lot of things.  For example, if you’re on the road to gaining wait, change it.  Make it a positive change for the better.

But how?  Ok, I’m getting there.  Ever heard the quote, “Change first happens within.?”  That’s where you have to start.  Within.  Here’s what I mean by that.

In order to change us, we have to first change our subconscious.  Our subconscious, is what controls every little thing in our lives.  Our subconscious, is what determines if we fail or not.  If we can reprogram our subconscious, nothing will hold us back.

One way to reprogram your subconscious, is to stop thinking negative thoughts.  Quit blaming outside things for your problems.  For example, don’t blame the economy for you having no job.  This is something that I recently struggled with.  Instead, tell yourself that it is possible, and you can make money, even in a bad economy.

My plan is to travel all over Europe and share my experiences with others.  One way I’m doing that, is through Facebook.  Live the life you want.  In order to do that, you must change your current life.  Now, get to it.

What are some other ways that you can use to help make positive changes in your life?

Communication Problem? Please Explain

There are many things that are necessary for Humans to exist.  Touch, Feeling, Experience, Love, but what about Communication?  We all need it to exist, but are you getting enough of the right kind?

Stem Cells…..Upon the moment of Conception, a Human Being starts to develop.  But, what many people don’t stop to think about is the fact that how many Stem Cells it takes to get the job done.  From day one, Stem Cells are working inside the Human to be, simply to make it all possible.

Millions of Stem Cells are required to get this massive job done.  Imagine, Millions of little things, working together, communicating on a scale that is unprecedented in all of the Human History.  We’re talking about communication on a level that is hard to even imagine.

What’s so special about this?  The communication that takes place in order to tell which group of Stem Cells becomes the Heart, which group becomes the Brain, which group becomes the Liver, and so on.  If you really think about it, it’s mind boggling.

So, here’s my dilemma.  If these Millions of Stem Cells can work together to create a human, with no physical errors, or any major physical errors.  Then why is it that two Humans often have a hard time communicating?  More specifically, the Male/Female relationships?

You always see people ignoring each other, neither one wanting to sway to one side, some even throwing stuff, while others merely just avoid the situation all together.  Seriously?  What’s the big deal?

Someone, please explain this to me.  Chances are, you probably can’t.

Still, It’s food for the thought.  Enjoy.
